The National Training Transition Fund

The National Transition Training fund offers people over the age of 25 and either under threat of redundancy, or who have been made redundant at any time since 1 March 2020, the chance to access an industry recognised qualification to help them to gain employment.

The training on offer is focused in areas where the Scottish government expects there to be growth in the labour market.

If you are currently in receipt of benefits, your Job Centre work coach will be able to refer you to a local training provider.

If you are not yet claiming benefits, you can call the SDS helpline on 0800 917 8000 for further information.
