All firms who apply to become a SELECT Member are required to submit an application fee of £300 plus VAT with their initial application. No refund of this fee will be made if SELECT has carried out a technical assessment, or if you subsequently decide not to pursue your application.
If you meet the membership criteria, you will be issued with an invoice for the current subscription year on a pro-rata basis. Thereafter, a membership subscription plus a levy on turnover as noted below will be paid on an annual basis, from 1 January each year:
The membership rates are approved at the Annual General Meeting of the association and are as follows:
Minimum subscription for a Member with an electrical turnover of less than £125,000 is £610 + VAT (£732.00).

This is the maximum levy a Member will pay if their turnover is less than £125,000.
If members contribute to the welfare credit schemes then a discount of 20% will automatically be applied to their combined subscription and levy fee.
