New resources keep Members and public in the loop




SELECT has launched three new downloadable resources, designed to help Members, the public and anyone looking to find out more about the association and its work.

The first two free brochures continue SELECT’s ongoing COVID-19 information drive, with updates about health and safety measures ahead of the relaxation of restrictions on 26 April. The third gives an in-depth overview of the association, with information about for non-Members and those looking to join.

The brochures follow recent publications on Member benefitshow to join SELECT and professional indemnity insurance, with a comprehensive range of free online resources now available here.

Returning in person

With lockdown restrictions being relaxed, this resource is designed to let Members know what measures to take when in-person assessments and visits from SELECT staff become possible again. The brochure includes practical health and safety guidance to help SELECT staff and Members before, during and after the visit, plus provides an email template that Members can send to customers ahead of a technical assessment. Are you ready to return?

Many electrical systems and equipment will have remained untouched lockdown, so this easy-to-follow guide is designed to help business owners know what checks they should make when returning to premises and reopening. It includes a list of issues to look out for, such as fire and security alarms, electrical installations and portable appliances, plus a guide to what action should be taken to ensures premises are safe for staff, visitors and customers.
