SCO-CERTS

All SELECT Members are eligible to subscribe and have access to SCO-CERTS online certification.  

This product provides a full suite of electronic certificates, reports, checklists and forms that a busy electrical contractor may require to produce as part of compliance with industry codes of practice and best practice guidance. 

Designed and developed exclusively for Members by Computer Scene Technical (CST), this innovative system helps you create certificates, reports and other forms quickly and also offers other benefits such as the ability to create and manage your own client and location databases.

SCO-CERTS was most recently updated to take account of the publication of BS 7671:2018+A3:2024 which includes new requirements and guidance to ensure correct selection, application and connection of protective devices.

This is now also the only option to access a Certificate of Construction  which allows for self certification of work carried out under the scope of a building warrant in Scotland by those Approved Bodies and Approved Certifiers of Construction that are registered in SELECT's Certification of Construction Scheme.

SCO-CERTS is designed to be accessed by all internet-enabled electronic devices and the system is available from Google Play, Windows App Store and the Apple App Store.

  • Access to the full range of SELECT BS 7671, BS 5839 and BS 5266 certification, including printable BS 7671 inspection checklists for use by those carrying out inspection as part of the initial verification process when verifying the compliance of new electrical installations
  • Specific ISITEE forms, formerly known as PAT Testing, including an Equipment Record, Equipment Formal Visual Inspection & Test Record and a Completion Certificate
  • Electric Vehicle Checklists, based on the IET Code of Practice for Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Installations, for those undertaking this type of work
  • Three user levels to prevent unauthorised alterations of client and installation databases
  • Compatible with a wide variety of devices and operating systems including PC, iPad, iPhone and Android Phones, Android Tablets and Windows 10 Tablets.
  • All certification produced is stored on the cloud on a secure server which is monitored 24/7 365 days a year.
