SELECT makes presentation to SkillELECTRIC heroes Ellis and Adam

SELECT has visited two Member firms in Elgin to reward the talented youngsters who scooped gold and silver in the recent SkillELECTRIC competition.

Membership Representative Emma Paterson popped into Campbell & McHardy Ltd to present Ellis Stevenson with an Amazon gift voucher after the 22-year-old became the first female winner of the UK-wide competition in December.

Ellis – who starred in our 2025 Scottish Apprenticeship Week video – was joined by boss Paul McHardy as she was also presented with a letter of congratulation from SELECT.

Emma also visited nearby McDonald & Munro Ltd, where she handed over a voucher to fellow UHI Moray student Adam Souter, who was runner-up in the three-day final at Bridgend College in Wales.

During the visit, Emma also chatted with Director Miguel Gomez as he received an official letter from the association.
